Originating in 1947, Kawartha Hardware & Electric survived two nearly devastating fires in 1949 and 1950 to become Kawartha Home Hardware close to three decades later. Expanded soon afterwards to approximately 5000 sq. ft. by owner Terry Kuch, this flagship location changed hands to it’s current owners in 1991. Undergoing expansion once more in 2002, Kawartha Home Hardware now boasts over 8000 sq. ft. of premium home supplies & equipment.
